Motion4Sim License Upgrade – From Basic to High-End
Your Motion4Sim Controller is built on a high-performance STM32 platform designed to grow with your simulator. While every board features the same premium hardware components, the firmware license determines which advanced features are active.
This upgrade allows you to transition your rig from a standard Step/Dir setup to a high-speed Ethernet or EtherCAT-driven motion platform.
Choose Your Upgrade Path:
1. Upgrade to PRO – The Connectivity Standard Target: Users moving from USB to a more robust Network/Wind setup.

Native Ethernet (LAN): High-speed, interference-free communication with your PC.

Dual-Channel Wind System: Drive two independent 12V PWM fans directly from the board for immersive directional wind simulation.

Analog 0–10V Output: Specifically for torque signal support (Servo 7).
2. Upgrade to PRO-PLUS – The EtherCAT Powerhouse Target: High-end builders utilizing modern industrial drive protocols.

EtherCAT Master Mode: Direct support for EtherCAT drives (act. only StepperOnline A6 EC Series). Reduced cabling, higher precision.

Dual Ethernet Architecture: Uses the secondary onboard W5500 SPI module to separate EtherCAT bus traffic from PC telemetry.
Note : a wiz850io module needs to be soldered for the 2nd Lan port if not present (comes only when ordered Pro+ with the controller) -
High Axis Count: Designed for complex rigs (up to 7 Step/Dir or 12+ EtherCAT axes planned).

License Check: Please note that PRO and PRO-PLUS licenses require a brief internet connection approximately every 20 days for a license validation check.

How to order: During checkout, please provide your Unique Controller ID (found in your Dashboard/Configurator) to ensure the license is assigned to the correct hardware.
